| “Right from the start
it was very clear that the Women’s Business Network was a group of
women genuinely wanting to support other women. Over the past 2
years, as a member of the Women’s Business Network, I have had the
privilege of meeting many of the amazing women within our community.
Women from diverse backgrounds and careers; entrepreneurs, business
owners, artists, professionals, social service providers, fellow
financial planners and more, all who are willing to listen and share
ideas. Many of these women have become my clients, important
connections to the community and friends. I am a firm believer in
supporting our local economy and supporting the businesses that add
to the health, culture and wealth of our community. The WBN, not
only fundraises in the community for the YWCA Crossroads shelters,
but also promotes local women in business. I have been inspired
professionally and personally by the various guest speakers and,
just as importantly, have had a lot of fun. As a business woman,
laughing and learning with peers, adds to my balance of family, self
