September 10, 2008 – Jude Smiley, CEO, Rainmakers Strategic Sales Inc.
Jude Smiley is a serial entrepreneur whose passion is to uncover the hidden potential in businesses in order for them to thrive and succeed. She started her first company at the age of 17 and has built and sold three companies thus far. She is also a well-known speaker, published author, ardent community supporter and is currently the Past President of the Canadian Association of Women Entrepreneurs.

November 5, 2008 – Paulette Senior, CEO, YWCA Canada
Paulette Senior is the CEO of YWCA Canada, the oldest and largest multi-service women’s organization in the country. Widely recognized as one of the most respected and vocal women leaders in the country, she captured significant attention for her positions on access to universal quality childcare, gun control, and making violence against women a national priority.

December 3, 2008 – Annual Christmas Dinner and Fundraising Auction
Wow! Can we beat last year’s total of $21,675? With an astonishing $107,000 raised to date for the Crossroads Women’s Shelter, this promises to be yet again another successful and fun filled evening! With silent and live auctions, live music and fabulous food, it’s sure to draw another record crowd. January 7, 2009 – Annual Health Fair & The ABC’s of Vitamin D featuring Dr. Lucie Blouin, Dr. Jane Purvis & Dr. Christie Freeman
This annual fair features health-focused booths by members and non-members as well as our featured key-note panel. Details to be announced shortly.

February 4, 2009 – Annual Financial Fair & Linda Reed, City Administrator, City of Peterborough
Please note: This meeting is open to both women and men. Be sure to reserve your booth early.
This is the night of our annual WBN Financial Fair. Women from all areas of the financial industry will be on hand to display their services and answer your questions. Be sure to book your booth early!

March 4, 2009 – Patricia Brusha, A Couple of Chicks.Com
Patricia Brusha is the co-founder and principal of “Couple of Chicks.Com” an Internet Marketing, Distribution & Revenue Measurement Company. She has spent 26 years working in the Hospitality Industry in the United States and Canada in the fields of Sales, Marketing, Internet Distribution and Revenue Management where her responsibilities included working with Multi-Branded portfolios along with Independent Hotels & Resorts.

April 1, 2009 – Jennifer McKenzie, Cooking Instructor & Food Consultant, Foodworx & The Milk Calendar

May 6, 2009 – Lynda Rose, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd. Canada
Lynda Rose leads the sales development and marketing teams at the Mary Kay Cosmetics corporate office and travels the country to mentor women experiencing success with their own Mary Kay businesses. She began her career in the cosmetics industry more than 25 years ago as a model and makeup artist and in 1984 she joined Lancôme Cosmetics and was soon promoted to Account Executive, working with such established retail chains as Eaton’s, Sears and Holt Renfrew to achieve top sales in Canada for 1987, 1988 and 1989.

June 3, 2009 – Annual Year-End Social (Members only event)
