Membership Protocol

Meetings are held at the Holiday Inn the first Wednesday of each month with the exception of January which is the second Wednesday. Networking/social hour begins at 6:00 pm.
Meeting Attendance must be confirmed in advance of each meeting. Each Director will call or email members prior to monthly meetings to confirm your attendance and whether you will be bringing a guest. Please respond promptly to messages as we need to confirm headcount with the Holiday Inn for meals. If you have any special dietary needs, please advise the Director. Any questions or concerns regarding the Women's Business Network, meals or any other club matters are to be directed to your President. If you do not receive a call the week prior, please call the hotline, 705-740-6199, with your RSVP.
Special dietary meals require one week's notice. Please contact the President to make the necessary arrangements.
Annual membership for 2008-2009 is $350 for a Single Membership and $450 for a Corporate membership. Convenient payment options can be discussed with a Membership Director. Click here to join online now.
4 A Single Membership is restricted to the registered member only and is not transferable from whom the payment was received.
4 A Corporate Membership entitles any one person from the registered company to attend.
Guest Registration: Just want to try us out or bring a friend? Guests may attend for a fee of $35, and may come to a maximum of two regular meetings before full membership is required. Click here to register as a guest.
Display Booths: Display your products and services with a display booth at meetings for the price of a door prize. Booths are booked on a first-come, first-served basis for members only. Contact the Program Director to make your reservation.
Table Drops: The board has decided to change the table drop back to it's original format. Now that we have our wonderful canvass tote bags, we have the opportunity to go back to the table drops being on the tables and we can place them in our WBN bags right away so they are not forgotten. In doing this we are hoping to increase the amount of table drops from last year. Don't forget to be CREATIVE! Only WBN members may leave material and you are required to bring a door prize……and remember, door prizes are always a great way to promote your business! When bringing a door prize do not forget to attach your business card so we know who to announce at the meetings. As an added bonus, all donors will also be mentioned in the next month’s newsletter!
Twoonie Talk: Members can sign up to go to the podium and for two dollars speak for one minute about their business, success story and or event. The Twoonie Talk will be announced and members who have contributed a door prize and/or a table drop will speak first followed by the general membership. A sign-up sheet will be available at 6:00pm.
Announcements: Keep the membership informed about your business events, such as Upcoming events, births, weddings, special recognition, special events, certifications, etc., by contacting the Newsletter Director or by posting your announcement on the WBN Bulletin Board
Newsletter Inserts are an inexpensive way to promote your business and are available for $35 per single-page insert. Inserts must be supplied pre-folded by the 15th of the month (170 copies please) for inclusion in the next mailing. Call or email the Newsletter Director to book your insert.
Concerns or questions related to the Women's Business Network, its Board and/or members should be directed to the President. All concerns will be addressed in a timely fashion.
